Ribbon Study — Pearl Bow Earrings

A ribbon, redrawn in pearls.

Tiny pearls trace the loops and tails of a bow, holding the softness of ribbon in a more luminous form. The scale is intimate; the detail reveals itself as you move.

Design & handwork

Hand-assembled pearl loops give the familiar bow a precise, beaded outline. Copper components support the design; the ear posts are S925 sterling silver.

Materials & fit

Small beadwork pearls: approximately 2–2.5 mm (0.08–0.10 in). This refers to the small pearls used in the bow, not the overall earring dimensions. Natural pearls and handmade proportions may vary.

Wearing the piece

Wear with a clean neckline and hair tucked behind the ear. A white shirt brings out the pearl work; an evening dress lets the bow become a small point of light.

Keeping its luster

Put jewelry on after perfume, skincare and hair products have dried. Keep away from water, household chemicals, heat and prolonged direct sunlight. After wearing, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and store separately. Do not use ultrasonic or steam cleaners on pearl pieces.
